Welcome to Leyland Methodist Infant School!

‘This is an outstanding school which is exceptionally well led and managed.’
‘The school exudes a strong Christian ethos in which the well-being, enjoyment and achievement of every pupil are evident in all aspects of its work.’
(Comments from our latest OFSTED Report).
On behalf of everyone at Leyland Methodist Infant School I would like to welcome you to our school website and hope that you find it easy to use and informative.
The website is designed to give you an insight into the life of the school and the many opportunities that it offers to pupils. The school has a lovely ‘family atmosphere’ and this is one of the many things that visitors remark upon. We encourage the development of Christian family values in our children.
We are a busy, friendly school with lots going on. The website should give you a flavour of the school through its many different sections. However, visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged. Monthly ‘Walkabouts’ are held for prospective parents to visit the school. Please telephone the school office to arrange this.
Our website provides you with a two way communication facility. From the school’s point of view it will help us to provide parents with up to date information in between our bi-weekly newsletters.
At Leyland Methodist Infant School we believe in providing every child with an exciting, enjoyable and challenging education. We encourage and value highly the involvement of parents and the partnership between home and school. The website class pages and curriculum area provides you with information about the work that your child is doing in class so that you are more able to get involved with their learning.
We are very proud of our children and our school and continually strive to improve the opportunities offered.
Thank you for visiting our website. After browsing through the pages we hope you will let us know how helpful the information is and if there are any additional areas you think would be useful.
